Who we are

Above Face is an iPhone app published by Above Face ("we"). Questions about this policy: [email protected].

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter (seasons, events, seats, prices, sales, fees, payouts, partner names, notes and any images you attach) is stored on your device. We never receive it, and we don't operate any server that stores app data.

• iCloud sync (optional, off by default). If you turn on "Sync with iCloud" in Settings, your data is stored in your own private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit, so it appears on your other devices. Apple handles that data under Apple's privacy policy. We can't access it.
• Home Screen widget. The app saves a small summary (totals and your next event) in a container on your device that only the Above Face widget can read.

Photos

If you attach a screenshot or receipt, or use "Read a sale screenshot," the app only receives the images you choose in the system photo picker. Text in a screenshot is read on your iPhone using Apple's built-in text recognition. Images and text are never uploaded.

Notifications

Reminders (for example, an undecided game coming up or a payout you're waiting on) are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push server is involved and nothing about your events is sent anywhere.

Purchases

Above Face Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payment; we never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase status with Apple on your device.

What we don't do

• No analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs.
• No tracking across apps or websites, and no data sold or shared with anyone.
• No connection to your ticket accounts (Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, etc.).

On the App Store, Above Face's privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

Deleting your data

Delete a season (swipe left in the app) or delete the app to remove everything on your device. If iCloud sync was on, you can also delete the app's data in iPhone Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.

Contacting support

If you email us, we'll receive your email address and whatever you include, and use it only to reply. We delete support emails when they're no longer needed.

This website

aboveface.app uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic request information (like IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Children

Above Face isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. If a change is significant, we'll also mention it in the app's release notes.
